Meet Taryn Johnson

Hello! My name is Taryn Johnson, and I am a proud student at Central Piedmont Early College. I am passionate about academic excellence, leadership, community service, and making a positive difference in the lives of others. I am excited to share my journey as a participant in the 2026–2027 Debutante Cotillion Scholarship Program!

Commitment to academic excellence

As a student at Central Piedmont Early College, I have worked hard to maintain academic excellence while balancing leadership, athletics, and community service. I currently hold a 4.214 weighted GPA and rank 34th out of 86 students in my class. In May 2027, I expect to graduate with my high school diploma, an Associate of Science, an Associate of Arts, and a Business Certificate from Central Piedmont Community College.

Following graduation, I plan to attend a four-year university and major in Biology, with the goal of attending dental school and becoming an orthodontist. I am excited about the opportunities ahead and remain committed to achieving my educational and career goals.

Leadership with purpose

Leadership means listening, empowering others, and making a positive difference. Throughout high school, I have challenged myself academically while taking on leadership roles that have strengthened my confidence, communication skills, and commitment to helping others.
